Reservations & payments may be made by cash, debit, money order or any major credit card. Please do not send cash by mail. To receive any promotional pricing you must make a full payment at time of booking.

When making a reservation, you may pay in full or reserve your vacation by paying a $500.00 minimum deposit. The balance will be automatically taken 28 days prior to arrival.

When making a reservation for either a tent or RV site you may pay in full, or reserve by paying the $100.00 deposit required. The balance will automatically taken 28 days prior to arrival.

RENTALS AND RV/TENT SITES
If we receive notification of cancellation a minimum of 28 days prior to your arrival date, we will refund all monies paid less a $100 cancellation fee. If we receive notification of cancellation less than 28 days prior to your arrival date, a $200 cancellation fee will apply. If you cancel within 7 days of your arrival, no refunds will be issued, no exceptions. Once the vacation has commenced, no refunds will be issued.

Check in time for all homes is 4pm, campsites 12pm. Have only one member of your party check your group in. Early check ins will not be permitted, unless you have purchased a Premium Package, entitling you to a 2pm check in.

Check out time for all camp sites, RV sites is 11AM, Rental Homes is 10AM. **A full day’s rate will be applied to late check outs**

All summerhome reservations will have a $50.00 key deposit added to them. This will be refunded when you check out and return the keys to the home directly to the office.

A $300.00 security deposit will be processed just prior to your check in time. This amount will be reserved as a pre-authorization only on a major credit card. This will be placed on the same card used for your holiday booking. Please make arrangements with ourreservation team if you want a different card used. Once the home has been inspected and found to be in the same condition as arrival the credit card information will be released. Any damage will be assessed and charged accordingly to your credit card. An extra charge will be added to your credit card for any home needing excessive cleaning.

Absolutely all of our homes are non smoking. Smoking is permitted outside the home only. A violation of this policy will result in an automatic deodorizing fee of $300.00 being applied against your security deposit.

Sherkston is a family resort and therefore carefully "breed specific" when making the decision of pets into the Park. Please check with a reservation team member for more information.

Only homes owned by the Park are designated as "pet friendly". Please advise our reservation team at time of booking if you are bringing your pet. An automatic $150.00 pet fee will be applied to your reservation for steam cleaning the home upon departure.

Certain breeds of dogs are welcome on your camp/RV site as long as they are leashed at all times. **Dogs are permitted on the lakefront beaches between the hours of 8pm and 8am only. Dogs are not permitted on Quarry Beach at any time.

Site locations and bed configurations are on a "request only" basis and are subject to availability at time of check in. Should a site change be necessary, we will guarantee the same site type equivalent or better. If we are unable to provide the above, a full refund will be issued.

Sherkston Shores is a Family Resort which welcomeschildren of all ages. Children and youth under the ageof 18 are permitted on property with adequate adultsupervision only.

We will not take bookings from individuals under the age of 25 years of age unless authorized by a manager prior to arrival. Sherkston reserves the right to terminate a booked holiday if any stated rules are in violation. No refunds or return vouchers will be issued.

Individuals renting a summerhome for a week will be entitled to 2 complimentary car load passes. No passes will be issued for camping customer guests. Visitors are welcome to visit the park until 10pm.

All guests are subject to the rules and regulations of the Resort, the registered site/home will be held responsible and accountable for your guest's actions.

While visiting the Resort you are responsible for abiding by all Resort rules and regulations. Non compliance may result in your eviction from the Park. Should this happen no refunds will be issued. Under no circumstances will Sherkston Shores be liable for any loss or damage to any of our guest’s personal property, including their vehicles, jewellery, personal effects or any other valuables including currency. Parents are responsible for the care and actions of their children at all times. All customers and guest using Sherkston Shores facilities do so at their own risk.

Alcohol and glass containers are not permitted on the beach. Glass containers are not permitted at camp sites at any time.

Boats or watercraft with motors over 3hp require proof of insurance of 1 million Canadian or $300000.00 US. Golf Carts must be electric and meet the same insurance requirements as above. Failure to meet the above requirements will result in the boat/golf cart being denied entry into the park.

Camping and RV site prices are for 2 adults and 4 children. Additional charges will apply for more than 2 adults per site, $30.00 per adult (max 6 people per site). Each site can hold a maximum of 2 six man tents. Car passes must be displayed at all times in the front window of your vehicle.

Pop up trailers or tents will not be allowed to camp on EWS/PEWS sites. No exceptions will be made. Any vehicle with an on-board washroom will not be permitted to camp on anything other than a 3 service site.

All summerhomes come equipped with Colour TV’s, fully equipped kitchens, bath and/or showers, various ranges of bed configurations and sizes, outdoor fire pit. They do not have BBQ’s, VCR’s, towels or linens. Linens can be purchased prior to arrival for $29.95.

Please remember that all amenities are on a seasonal, weather dependent schedule. The entertainment complex/pools and restaurants are on a full schedule throughout July/August. Limited hours of operation of facilities and services are available in the spring and fall. We reserve the right to close any facilities due to weather conditions or for Health and Safety reasons without prior notice.

All summerhomes have a maximum of 6 persons per home. If your group exceeds 6 persons, you must have a manager's consent to occupy a home. Parties exceeding 6 not having obtained management consent risk being expelled from the park. No refunds or vouchers will be issued. You will be allowed two cars per site. Each car must display a car pass in the window at all times.

It is your responsibility to ensure that your summerhome is left in the same shape as when you arrived, tidy, clean and with all garbage removed.

Summerhomes are occasionally listed for sale, in which case it may be viewed by appointment during your stay. No additional guests, except those listed on your reservation can occupy the premises.
